Bio:

With a name like Outlaw's Upland Undertaker and a call name of R.I.P., you knew this boy was going to be a serious player.  Looking at his pedigree tells all you need to know.  

Rip is one of the last sons sired by the phenomenal FC Burr Oak Hoosier's Buddy.  He is a line bred Checkmate/Moesgaard/ Timmy/ Prince James dog possessing many of the old genes we strive to hang on to.

Rip has an enormous amount of natural ability and point, was rock steady right out of the whelping box, as he covers ground like a banshee and has tremendous style. He is currently being run on the AKC/American Field trial circuits as a derby dog and he is certainly capable of running and winning.  However, I suspect as challenging as it is, that the horseback trial game won't really keep his interest for too long, and is certainly not a main reason he is in our program.

He has an incredible nose and this dog can flat find birds!  Lots of them!  His head and heart is that of a true bird dog.  RIP is a hunting dog first and foremost, and absolutely lives to please.  His field performance is obviously exceptional and his house dog (couch potato) calm manners and temperament have amazed many pro and amateurs alike who have been around him enough to know.  

RIP is the complete package, we look forward to this boys reputation.  He will be a major part of our program.  He is currently working on his Master Hunter title, FC title, and will soon be coming to a NSTRA field near you.  Hey, maybe even some NAVHDA tests, if we can squeeze it in between chasing wild birds in a few states!!!
