'Started Dogs' have begun their training, and will generally point and retrieve. They have been shot over, and are not gun shy. Thus, they will turn and here when called, and will often back or honor. Sometimes they will be steady to flush. These dogs are able to hunt while being a companion dog, and they are ready to accept further training (to graduate to a 'Finished Dog'.

BIO: Jock is a real nice dog, and was hunted on wild birds last season in CO, NE, IA, and KS. He is very steady to flush, points well, and has a lot of run in him. He is a good shoot to retrieve prospect, while he is being worked on force breaking his retrieve at this time. Jock picks up every bird, but doesn’t always deliver to hand just yet. A little more polish, and he’ll be a nice hunter. Jock is owned by Keith Bryant.

BIO: Roy has a very nice pedigree, and is one good looking dog, with one hunting season behind him. He has run in NSTRA, and has qualified in the amateur division to run in the Midwest region eliminations. Roy points, backs, and retrieves. He is medium range, and is very steady to flush. Roy is owned by Keith Bryant.

'Finished Dogs' are trained to a more professional level. They will be completely steady on point, back or honor another dogs point on sight without command, hunt dead birds and retrieve to hand. The dog will whoa on command (stop when told to), have much experience being shot over, and will actively hunt and search game with superior bird finding knowledge.
They will be steady to wing (flush), shot, and often fall. They generally have superior style, intelligence, and manners that anyone would be proud to own ie: will heal on and off leash, will generally load up and kennel on command, and will listen to commands and take instruction, often taking whistle or hand signals for direction. These dogs are a pleasure to live and hunt with, and usually require no additional training to be a perfect companion/gun dog.

Male-LVR/RN, Patched/TKD D.O.B. 7/00
Bio: Buster has both a pedigree and the performance to go with it. Buster is a trial dog and a darn good one! He has run numerous NSTRA trials and has multiple placements with NAGDA and NBDCA, which include qualifying for NATIONALS IN BOTH! He has several legs on his Senior Hunter (SH) and is looking for a MH title at this time!
Buster’s pedigree is pure field trial and those seeking these lines will find nothing finer. He has a great nose and strong sense or will to find birds. When you cut him loose he has only one thing on his mind and that is to find birds! Buster has honored naturally from the beginning and is broke to wing, shot and fall and force broke to retrieve on land or in water. His face has been featured on Bass Pro Shop’s video and TV from the 2001 NAGDA National Championships. He has a long trial career ahead of him.
